Star Tours operate a luggage handling service under which the driver will load and unload one piece of luggage per person from the coach (weighing up to a maximum of 20kg, and not exceeding dimensions of 90 x 75 x 43cm / 35.5 x 29.5 x 16ins). Passengers’ will have to carry their luggage to and from the coach to the hotel room.

In addition, you can also carry one piece of small hand luggage (weighing up to a maximum of 7kg, and not exceeding dimensions of 20 x 20 x 48 cm / 8 x 8 x 19 inches), which can fit under their seat or in the overhead compartment.

If you check in extra baggage, or baggage beyond the limits outlined here an additional fee of £5 per bag per day will apply (subject to availability). Any baggage deemed to large will need to be placed in the locker. All baggage is kept on the coach at owner’s risk.

Car seats are not provided on coaches but passengers should carry car seats with travelling infants for comfort and safety.

Coaches and Hotel rooms may not have an option to heat up baby milk it is therefore the passengers’ responsibility to make sure of necessary arrangements for any children and infants in their group. Milk and baby food cannot be provided by the hotel or restaurants and passengers are advised to carry ready to drink milk whilst on tour. Dry food is allowed on the so please feel free to bring snacks for children.

Pushchairs can be kept in the baggage lockers of the coach, although size restrictions may apply.

Wheelchairs

We will accept light weight manual wheelchairs for travel, subject to them being capable of being stowed in the luggage hold of the coach. It is also essential that a family member is also on the tour to push their wheelchair. Star Tour’s will also request hotels for suitably equipped rooms; however, this is only on a request basis and cannot be guaranteed.

Professional drivers and reps accompany our tours throughout the itinerary. Please note that this is not a guided tour, and only includes transfers.

All coaches are fitted with arm rests, TV, DVD/CD and toilet facilities (on occassions). Toilet facilities on coaches have limited capacities, and are only capable of handling liquid waste and therefore we advise passengers to use them only on an ‘emergency’ basis, as the tank can only be emptied at regulated areas due to the nature of the waste.

All coaches are either air conditioned or air cooling systems, lowering to a maximum of 8-9ºC from the outside temperature. Only food which is dry and cold can be taken onto the coach. Curries, chips and other hot food are not allowed to be consumed on the coach. In addition, chewing gum and ice , burgers, ice cream and other greasy foods are not permitted on the coach.

Seat belts must be worn at all times whilst on the coach.

Please remember our staff cannot take requests for any seats. Seat numbers will be given to you, on day one of your tour. Passengers with children in their group will not be seated near the front due to EU regulations & company policy. No requests for seats are taken. Medical grounds for a seat are not taken into consideration as all seats offer the same comfort level.
